Autumn Canopy Woodlanders

This print was painted exclusively for The Woodland Gift Company Autumn Box in the form of an A5 card. I have been a huge fan and customer of the company for years. 

Autumn has to be my favourite season. The colours on the trees, the ground, blue skies and that cool crisp autumnal air is the best. This is what I tried to capture and Charlotte's description made my heart sing. 

When Susan painted ‘Autumn Canopy’ just for our Woodlanders, it transported me to laying under a wise tree. The branches swaying and the leaves twinkling as they fell around me. The blue sky on a crisp Autumn afternoon peeking down from behind this ancient tree. Simply beautiful.
